Recent reports of what David Letterman said on his talk show … the same week Conan O’Brien debuted his takeover of the Tonight Show should be important to everyone….

There has been a lot of talk as to whether his comments were acceptable and the first thing that came to my mind was Jamie Foxx and his attacks on Miley Cyrus…

Maybe you remember what Foxx said about Miley on his pay for access radio program that only has a handful of viewers. Although it was much more vulgar in content it had the exact same meaning….

Foxx said Miley should be out doing drugs and making a sex tape with her father.. It was very bad and one of the reasons we are happy to show Miley Videos in our sidebars on all of our pages….

Miley is 16 or was at the time of the attack …

David Leterman decided to attack a 14 year old girl … the daughter of Governor Palin.

Now we know exactly why Fox did what he did… Miley Cyrus is more popular then he ever will be and she is only 16… she has more views on youtube … more albums sold … more people seeing her movies…  and Foxx snapped and showed the sexist and racist he is and attacked her because his movie was coming out the same week Miley’s was at the top of the charts.

Letterman seeking attention because of Conan’s debut needed to stir up controversy. He has been losing viewers for the past year and Conan the guy that replaced him at NBC is now taking the Job that Jay Lenno took from Letterman so many years ago.

It is sad it really is because Letterman was one of the best but just like Howard Stern was one of the best who couldn’t control himself after the FCC Fined him and his career went into the crapper Letterman is following suit…

Look at Johny Carson he had good and bad times and maybe you can say he was better or not as good as any of the people we now have on late night but the one thing about Carson was that he understood that there are people on the other side of the camera…

Carson and all the rest never back down from insulting a performer or even a politician if they have been found guilty of doing something outrageously wrong… A congressman sleeping with his secretary or a star that gets locked up for DUI … it is open game if they disgrace themselves.

This is where Letterman’s words need to be examined…

Governor Palin has done nothing to him and her daughter well attacking her is just sick no matter how rude or not he was…

But the fact is Governor Palin is a Governor… she may look pretty … she may have a great presence but she is not a performer… she is not a celebrity… she is a Governor…

Governor…. yes did we all forget that fact?

She is one of 50 people that help run one of our States and she just happens to run the largest one in our country. Add to that  … she is 45 years old … relatively young and the fact she has an 80%+ approval rating for the job she does.

Governor or not DO YOU KNOW ANYONE THAT HAS A 80% PLUS APPROVAL RATING  … even Walmart and McDonalds don’t have those figures …. GM sure doesn’t …. no congress man or woman … or even our current president who has been loosing every day since he has been in office…

But you don’t even have to go that far… Letterman himself has no where near 80% of the viewers … even at 11:30 when there is little or nothing else on.

So really …

Its not about letterman being a loser … everyone knows he is …

and its not about Sarah Palin ….

Its about simple respect that you give to any woman and her child.

It was wrong for Foxx to attack Miley…

Its wrong for Letterman to attack Governor Palin…

Its just wrong all around… But the worst part is America is too stupid to walk that one more step past political and celebrity …. and really see that … Things can not be changed for you … You have to Change yourself or nothing different will ever happen…

I Feel bad that i had to give letterman space on this site and that is the reason i had not talked about it before…

But this place we are in as a society …

We have Sotomayor saying she is better then white people…

We have Foxx getting away scott clean for the crap he said about a teen performer…

Carrie Prejan Having her Miss USA AND Miss California Crowns taken from her..

Letterman …

On and On and On

This crap has got to end….

Racist and Ignorant attacks on people because of their values, their color, their religion…

And whats so bad about it the attacks come from people that say they were persicuted…

I dont know about you but I never persicuted anyone.. but I have been on the other end just like Prejan, Miley and Governor Palin…

Something needs to change… People need to be exposed for what they are and it needs to end.

There needs to be another battle for Civil Rights but the people needing protection this time are not the same people that did last time.
