Taylor Swift was super gracious while she accepted the award for Album of the Year at the Grammys.

Some people have said that her amazing claim to fame came at the the death of Kanye West’s career and if that was all it was then she would still deserve every award she has won in the past year but really it is more then that.

We saw performers like Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus and Lady Antebellum all lead the charts week after week.

To look at YouTube as a reference which is really one place you can see not only the national but world interest in music Miley Cyrus has been out numbering everyone in views for her The Climb and Party in the USA video and Taylor Swift has had at least 5 of her songs on the main music videos page week after week.

This really was Taylor’s year and everything just came together to prove it.

On top of being talented she is an example that we all miss in performers today.

The black eyed pees can put out a rhyming  hoochie song that will get a lot of interest by a number of people but to transcend not only across genres but age groups and to tie it all together into something that is what you want to have in your head while you are humming and making dinner or working around the house ..

Well Taylor gave us that back.
