The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s Walk of Fame Committee has announced that Cameron Diaz will join about 25 others including Robert Downey Jr, Hugh Jackman and Shakira along Hollywood’s walk of Stars.

The honor does come with a $25,000 price tag that is paid by the star to help defray the cost of protecting the walk.

The new stars will be placed some time in 2009.
